Season's Greetings
We would like to wish you and your family a Happy Holiday Season. We hope the two-week school break affords your family a time to "wind down," recharge, and enjoy some time together. It's hard to believe the school year is now half over. It is a good time to reflect on the last four months.
We'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all of our PTO parent volunteers - you really do make a difference in our children's lives!! Also thank you to each and every teacher - we are so fortunate at MMS to have such a fine group of professionals guiding our kids in their learning journey. Last but not least, thank you to our great leadership team, Mr. Asmussen, Mrs. Loehnis, and Mr. Richie and their support staff, who go the extra mile each and every day to make MMS the BEST!

Tax Credit Contest - Extended through 12/31/08!!
If you haven't already donated - please do so TODAY! To qualify for a tax credit on your 2008 Arizona income taxes, and to be entered to win one of two $100 CASH PRIZES awarded by the PTO, your donation must be in by December 31, 2008 (if mailed to the school, your envelope must be postmarked by this date).
How Tax Credit Works: You write a check to MMS for up to $200 for single filers and $400 for married filers postmarked before December 31, 2008. When you file your Arizona State taxes, you subtract the amount from what you owe OR add the amount to your refund. THIS IS A TAX CREDIT not just a regular donation!
How the money is used at MMS: Field trips, homework club, drama, KUGR News, Athletics, Fine Arts, Character Education and WEB, Science Olympiad, before-and-after school programs.
