Membership Information
PTO funds support programs, supplies, and activities. To become a member, there is an annual one-time, tax-deductible membership donation from each family. Please download the form at the left and return it to the PTO.

Here is a sampling of what the PTO funds were used for in 2008-2009
- 16 Microscopes that are being used in the 6th-grade science classes
- 70 Pre-Algebra Books for the 7th graders and 2 sets of teacher books
- Science kits on Chemical Interaction for 8th-grade students
- 10 Computers and Software for all to use in the Media Center
- 6 Overhead projectors for use in various classrooms
- An 8' x 20' storage unit, placed out side of the PE dept, for much-needed storage
- 3 Copiers, to replace broken/outdated ones in individual houses
- Scholastic Magazines and Time for Kids - to help all grades with current events
- 6 Beanbag Chairs for the Media Center - to encourage kids to "hang out and read"
- Helped STUGO buy a new Cougar Mascot Costume to be used at pep rallies, etc.
- Reimbursed teachers (up to $100 each) for supplies used in their classrooms
- Funded Informative Community Presentations at the school for parents & students (1.) Harmful effects of Drugs/ Alcohol and (2). Potential effects of & curbing bullying in school
